This switch, which is comparable to the original Hamilton Beach issue replaces a faulty cup switch.
In the late 60's, Hamilton Beach replaced malfunctioning switches with this micro switch kit, rather than trying to repair the old switch. Today, you will find that many switches in these mixers have previously been repaired using micro switches. The micro switch is a simple solution for repairing bad switches.
